Portraits consist of many different variations. Studio Kiva shoots head and shoulder photos for businesses and individuals. We pride ourselves in paying attention to the very small details, a flyaway hair, blemish, etc.
Portrait head and shoulders photos are photographs that are tightly cropped to the face and shoulders showing your current appearance and reflecting your best qualities. Our production team can do retouching to keep it natural looking. This is great for a business card that shows that you are easily approachable in the business world.
Environmental portraits are professional photographs that highlight and illuminate the subject’s life and surroundings using the environment. These are great for some of our families and seniors to show the lifestyle of the mountains.
When it comes to wedding photography we have many years of experience. We typically photograph weddings with a photojournalistic approach. We try not to make everything look posed. It could be a ski wedding, a wedding on dog sleds, or anything out of the ordinary. Having fun on your wedding day is so important and we are all about having a little adventure with your photographs. We don’t want you to miss out on all the cocktails!

We love adventures with our photography! You will see Katie starring down a rock face on a rock climb to get the money shot or on the ski slopes at the X games. Or you may see one of our videographers hiking a 14teener with all the gear to the summit. At weddings, we typically get on someone’s shoulders to get the big group shot. Whatever it may be we want to grab that exceptional shot that makes you stand out from the rest.
